This article outlines how to edit an unpublished Personal Notification (PN), view a published PN, duplicate an existing PN, and add users to a previously created PN.
Please note that once a Personal Notification has been published, it cannot be directly edited, as this may lead to confusion for users who have already viewed the notification. Instead, we recommend duplicating the notification, clearly adding "Updated Information" to the title, and modifying the necessary content. This ensures transparency and clarity regarding any changes or corrections made.
Additionally, you can add new users to existing notifications if, for example, new students join your school, saving you the hassle of recreating notifications from scratch.

How to:
1. Edit an Unpublished Personal Notification:
You can edit any Personal Notification that is currently in Draft, Pending, or Scheduled status.
Steps:
- Navigate to Personal Notifications > Manage Personal Notifications.
- Locate the notification you'd like to edit.
- Click on the three-dot icon (⋮) on the right side of the selected PN.
- Select Edit.
- Make your required changes.
- After editing, click Submit to save and update your notification.
2. View a Published Personal Notification:
You can review previously published Personal Notifications to confirm their content and details.
Steps:
- Navigate to Personal Notifications > Manage Personal Notifications.
- Locate the published notification you want to view.
- Click on the three-dot icon (⋮) on the right side of the selected PN.
- Select View.
- This option displays the content exactly as it was sent, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
3. Duplicate an Existing Personal Notification:
Duplicating an existing Personal Notification saves significant time, especially when sending similar or recurring messages. It eliminates the need to retype or manually copy and paste content.
Steps:
- Navigate to Personal Notifications > Manage Personal Notifications.
- Locate the notification you wish to duplicate.
- Click on the three-dot icon (⋮) on the right side of the selected PN.
- Select Duplicate.
- The notification's content is duplicated into a new draft.
- Edit the duplicated notification if necessary, then submit it as usual.
4. Add Users to an Existing Personal Notification:
You can easily include additional users to a previously sent Personal Notification, useful when new students or staff members join your institution.
Steps:
- Navigate to Personal Notifications > Manage Personal Notifications.
- Locate the existing notification to which you want to add users.
- Click on the three-dot icon (⋮) on the right side of the selected PN.
- Select Add Users.
- Choose the additional users to include and add them to the Final List.
- Once users are selected, click Submit.
Newly added users will receive a Push Notification alerting them of the new PN available for viewing.
