Users

The Users tab in the Appendix 3 system is where you can manage access for staff members who need to work with sensitive information related to bullying behavior reports. This tab allows you to control and review who has access to the system, their roles, and the data they are handling.

Managing User Access

Once your school’s Admin user (typically the Principal) is assigned by Unique Schools, they can add and manage other staff members’ access. It is essential to manage this access separately from the School App system to ensure the security and confidentiality of the sensitive data recorded in Appendix 3 reports.

 

 

Viewing and Managing Users

The Users tab displays a list of all current active users in the system. From here, Admin users can:

  • Add New Users
  • Edit Current Users
  • View and Search users
  • Export User Lists for record-keeping
  • Edit User Details (e.g., changing roles or contact information)

The user list includes the following information:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Status (active or inactive)
  • Number of Reports associated with the user
  • Role (Admin or Assignee)
  • Date Created
  • Last Updated

User Roles and Permissions

Admin:

  • Full access to the Appendix 3 system
  • Ability to create, manage, and edit their own reports
  • Can assign and edit access for other users

Assignee:

  • Limited access
  • Can be assigned to view and manage reports but cannot create reports themselves

By carefully managing roles and access in the Users tab, you ensure that sensitive information remains secure while empowering staff to fulfill their roles in the Appendix 3 process.

 

 

Add New Users

1. Once logged into the Appendix 3, Click the Users tab

2. Add the staff member's name, email and phone

3. Select their Title

  • Principal
  • Staff
  • Secretary

4. Choose their Role (see above for explanation on both roles)

  • Admin
  • Assignee

5. Submit

Once submitted, the staff member will receive an email with information on how to login including their credentials.
