App Engagement Overview

View app engagement including opens and parents not registered

The App Engagement Overview is the first screen displayed when you open the Year Head Dashboard. It highlights key app activity, including:

  • Total app opens since the start of the academic year
  • Parents and staff registered on the school app
  • Remaining SMS credits and top-up options

App Opens Insight:
Tracking App Opens since the start of the year provides valuable insight into parent engagement with the app and school communications. On average, schools see between 5,000 to 10,000 app opens per month, helping to gauge overall engagement levels.

Viewing Non-Onboarded Users:
Press the “View” button for each option to identify those not onboard. The “Families Onboard” metric is key—it tracks one parent/guardian per student. Clicking “View” shows families with no registered representative, allowing you to follow up directly.

Note: Demo students listed under "US Support" are for our Support team and can be ignored.

Remaining SMS Credits:
SMS alerts are sent to unregistered primary contacts, such as for Absence Requests. If a student lacks app representation, the primary contact will receive an SMS urging them to download and register on the app to submit the form. You can also use the "Send SMS" option to communicate with those not yet registered via a News/Notification or Personal Notification. To purchase additional SMS credits, click "Top-Up" to access the purchase page.
