Marking Detention Attendance & Sending Notifications

Take roll and send Personal Notifications to parents alerting them of the student's presence

If you’re a staff member who has been assigned to a Detention or created it initially, you can take the roll call and send a Personal Notification to parents/guardians to inform them whether the student attended Detention or not.

Marking Attendance

1. Go to www.uniqueschoolapp.ie and log into the Dashboard.

2. Click on the “Go to Year Heads Dashboard” button on the right-hand side of the screen.

3. Click on the Detention tab in the left-hand menu.

Note: If you do not see the Detention tab, please contact staffsupport@uniqueschools.ie to have it enabled.

4. Click on the “Eye” icon to the right of the Detention you have been assigned to.

5. From this screen, you can take roll by clicking the Checkbox beside the Student Name and then click the Mark Attendance button on the top right of the screen. You can choose Present or Absent.

Note: The easiest way to do this is by selecting all those who are Present first and Marking them as Present in bulk, and then mark those Absent after in bulk.
