Cloud Cam is a system that enables staff to take photos of students and school-related items without the images ever being stored on their personal devices.
The images are automatically stored on a cloud-based server and only publishable through the app.
Capturing Images
1. Open your Administrator's App and go to Cloud Cam
- On Android devices, open the left side menu and you will find the Cloud Cam tab
- On Apple devices, you can open the Cloud Cam as per the screenshot below on the main bottom menu
- Here you will see all previously uploaded Cloud Cam images

2. Capture a new image by tapping the camera icon on the bottom right and this will open the camera
3. Take your photos and when you have finished tap on the tick button

4. Decide if you want to SYNC or DELETE the images you have taken. You must SYNC any images you want to use or keep
- Once you have synced the images, they can be used in future News/Notifications/Personal Notifications, Galleries and more

Uploading an Image From Your Device
There may be cases when staff need to upload images from their device. This could be when saving stock images from the web and using them to promote an event, such as a Bake Sale. This is also possible within the Administrator's App and should only be used in these circumstances. Any images of students and faculty should be captured directly via the Cloud Cam.
Note: Uploading from your device should only be done in specific circumstances. All images added to the Cloud Cam should be uploaded directly from the Administrator's App via the inbuilt Camera.
Note: If you are uploading images found online, ensure they are royalty free. Otherwise, the school will be liable for any copyright infrigement claims.
To upload an image from your device:
1. Open the Cloud Cam from the Administrator's App
2. Tap on the Camera icon on the bottom right of the screen
3. Tap on the Gallery icon on the bottom right of the screen
4. Browse your gallery and tap on the image(s) you wish to upload
5. Tap on Done

Organising the Cloud Cam
The Cloud Cam is available to all staff on the app. Any images captured and uploaded to the Cloud Cam are available for all staff to see internally. They are not visible to parents/guardians on the main school app until actually added to a News/Notification or Gallery item.
Organisation is key with the Cloud Cam as it can become cluttered if not maintained since all staff can see all images. That's why we suggest using folders in order to keep track and find any regularly used images.
Each staff member should have their own folder or each year should have their own folder - whichever is preferred.
Example: A folder named Mr. McManus allows this staff member to keep track of images they uploaded to that specific folder or “2nd Year 2024/2025” folder would contain all images for that specific year group for the academic year of 2024/2025.
To add a new folder:
1. Open the Cloud Cam from the Administrator's App
2. Tap the 3 dots on the top right of the screen
3. Select Create New Folder
4. Enter the folder name
5. Tap on Create
