Access & Permissions

Assign Year Heads to their respective years and other staff members to their roles within Access & Permissions.

The Access & Permissions section allows staff members who have Principal, Deputy Principle or Admin roles assigned to them, to add or edit certain levels of access. These levels of access are outlined below.

 

Select staff can assign the following from the Access & Permissions tab: 

  • Principal Access 
  • Deputy Principal Access
  • Admin Access (School Office)
  • Attendance Access (Per Year for Year Heads)
  • Parent Note Access

 

Principal, Deputy Principal and Admin Access

The Principal should be assigned to the Principal role, Deputy to Deputy and the School Office staff should be assigned to Admin Access from the dropdown list. 

  • These levels give overall access to the system which includes the following modules:
    • Medical form permission forms submitted for all the years.
    • Attendance Reports for all the years.
    • Parent Note received for all the years.

 

Attendance Access refers to staff being able to access attendance reports for all year/class.  Please choose the Type Attendance from the dropdown list.

  • This level gives access to the system which includes the following modules:
    • Medical form permission forms submitted for all the years.
    • Attendance Reports for all the years.

Year Head Access refers to staff being able to access attendance reports for their relevant year/class. Please choose the Type as the year (e.g - 1) and then select the Classes from the dropdown list to the right.

  • This level gives access to the system which includes the following modules:
    • Medical form permission forms submitted for the assigned year.
    • Attendance Reports for the assigned year.

Parent Note Access allows parents/guardians to submit non-attendance notes to the assigned individual. We recommend setting up the Parent Note so that parents/guardians can submit notes to Year Heads and/or the School Office. 

  • This level gives access to the system which includes the following modules:
    • Parent note received for assigned user.

 

 

This is an annual housekeeping task and access should be reviewed and updated as necessary at the beginning of each academic year. Particular attention should be paid to Year Heads as they are more likely to change each year.
