Personal notification templates will be used when managing Attendance. It allows staff members to send automated messages to Parents/Guardians to remind them to submit attendance notes or bring awareness of the number of absences/lates.
These messages are triggered when using your Administrators App from the Absentee, Late Arrivals, Late Outstanding & Absentee Outstanding sections.
From the Desktop version, you can trigger the Absentee and Late PN Templates from Reports > Absent Note List & Late Note List.
To set them up you are required to log in to your main Dashboard on Desktop.
To create a new Personalised Template please follow the steps below:
- Go to your Dashboard and tap on Personal Notifications then in the dropdown select PN Templates
- Tap on Add on the top right of the screen
- Select Message type
- Enter Title
- Enter message content
- Submit
Note: You can only have one of each Message Type created, if one is already created you can either Edit the existing one or delete and create a new one.
To Edit an existing Personalised Template please follow the steps below:
- Go to your Dashboard and tap on Personal Notifications then in the dropdown select PN Templates
- Tap on the Edit icon beside the template you wish to modify
- Make desired changes
- Submit
Absentee Outstanding and Late Outstanding only apply to Schools that use the Attendance Form Management system.

Absentee - We are sending this notification to bring this matter to your attention, the level of absence from your student is of concern. If there is an ongoing issue that you would like to discuss with the school please contact the year head. Late - Your student has a number of late arrivals to date as noted above. We are concerned about this level of late arrivals and wanted to bring the matter to your attention. Habitual lateness can deteriorate into absenteeism and we ask that you please talk to your student to discuss how you can help them reach school in a timely manner. Late arrival to class is disruptive for the teacher and other students and negatively impacts your students academic achievement. If there is an ongoing issue with your student which is causing their late arrival please contact the Year Head to let them know. Feel free to contact the Year Head at any time if there is anything we can do to help improve your students arrival. Please proceed to the "Attention Please" section of the app in order to submit the requested notes. The Attendance Team
Absentee Outstanding - When your student is absent from school, we ask parents/guardians to submit an Absence Form through the App. If a note is not received, the school send an Absence Request Form to the parent/guardian requesting the completion and submission of an Absence Note. To date we have a number of Absent Request Forms outstanding for your student as noted above. The school has a legal obligation to return attendance records to the Department of Education and Tusla. In order that the school can maintain complete and accurate records it is imperative that parents submit all attendance forms in a timely manner. Alternatively, if you need any further guidance or assistance from the school please contact the office or the Year Head. Late Outstanding - Your student has a number of outstanding Late request forms. The school has legal obligation to submit attendance information to the Dept of Education and Tusla. In order to maintain these records as accurately as possible we need you to please submit these outstanding forms.
