Try “register staff”, “archived news” or “add a payment”.

2. Create and Submit a Website Update Ticket

Describe each change, add text or files, then send the request to the website team.

Use Create Ticket to send website changes to the website team. Have the page links, final wording and any files ready before you begin.

1. Add the ticket details

  1. Open uniqueschoolapp.ie → Web Updates, then select Create Ticket.
  2. Enter a clear Title and a brief overall Description. For example: “Update the school office opening hours”.
  3. Choose Normal or Urgent priority as appropriate. If timing matters, explain the reason and requested date in the description; selecting Urgent does not itself confirm a completion time.

2. Describe each requested change

  1. Give the request a short Request Title.
  2. Paste the exact website page into Request Page URL.
  3. Use Request Description to say what should change and where on the page it belongs.
  4. Choose the correct Request Type and complete its fields below.
  • Text Update: paste the current wording into Original Text and the final replacement wording into Updated Text.
  • Document Upload: upload the document and explain its link text and location. Accepted types shown are PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS and XLSX.
  • Images: upload JPG, PNG or WEBP files and explain where they should appear.
  • Others: use Describe the Request to explain a change that does not fit the other types.

Add screenshots in Visual References if they help identify the area to change. These are supporting references, so explain separately which files should appear on the website. The upload controls show a maximum of 10 files and 50 MB per file; check the limits and accepted types shown beside the control you are using.

For another change, select Add Another Request. Keep separate tasks in separate request items so each change is easy to follow.

3. Check and submit

  1. Check the page links, replacement text and attachments. Only include information and images approved for the website.
  2. Select Submit Ticket when the request is ready for the website team.
  3. Check that the ticket appears in the submitted list and note its ticket ID for follow-up. If you are unsure whether it submitted, check the dashboard before sending a duplicate.

Not ready? Choose Save as Draft and return through View Draft on the dashboard.

Next: Track progress and reply to the website team.
