Delivery & Read Status

See who’s read messages, confirm push delivery, and identify unregistered or unreachable parents.

Easily track who has read a Personal Notification and access deeper insights—such as whether the Push Notification was successfully delivered to the user's device.

If a notification wasn't delivered and remains unread, it often indicates that the parent or guardian either doesn't have the app installed, has notifications turned off, or may have changed devices and forgotten to reinstall the school app.

This level of detail is invaluable when it comes to effectively reaching parents. You can also view whether a parent has previously registered on the school app, providing further context for communication.

 

Manage and view details of your Personal Notifications (PNs):

1. Access Personal Notifications:

  • Go to your Dashboard.
  • Tap on Personal Notifications.
  • From the dropdown menu, select Manage Personal Notifications.

2. Viewing Sent Notifications:

  • By default, the screen displays Personal Notifications you have previously sent.

3. Checking Read/Unread Status:

  • Under the Read and Unread columns, you can see the number of recipients who have or have not read the PN.
  • Click on either the Read or Unread figure to view a detailed list of users.

Detailed Report Columns:

  • Student Name and Read Status:
    • Typically marked as Unread unless the "Include Student to PN" option was selected when creating the PN.
  • Primary Contact/Teacher Name and Read Status:
    • Displays the Primary Contact’s name associated with the student, or the staff member's name if sent directly to staff, along with their read status.
  • Secondary Contact Name and Read Status:
    • Displays the Secondary Contact’s name associated with the student along with their read status.
  • Push Notification Delivery Status:
    • To the left of each contact, you will see either:
      • ⚠️ Warning Symbol: Indicates the Push Notification was not delivered. Hover over this icon for additional details.
      • Check Symbol: Indicates successful delivery. Click the report icon to see the exact delivery time.
  • App Registration Status:
    • Next to each user's name, you will also see:
      • 🟩 Solid Green Box: Indicates the user is registered on the app.
      • 🟥 Solid Red Box: Indicates the user is not registered on the app.
